Opening in September 2011, RCIS is a small elementary school in Dorchester that offers families and students a rigorous education in a warm, nurturing learning environment.

RCIS is Boston’s first Innovation School, with the freedom to take a creative approach to school transformation. The school relies on deep partnerships with the community to achieve its mission and prepares students to become active members of the community.
